Meet The Doctors

Audrey Y. Reid, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Reid did her medical training at Howard University, Washington, D.C., her internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, Ohio prior to doing a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Residency completed, Dr. Reid spent 2 years at LAUSC Medical Center pursuing a subspecialty in infectious diseases. During her first year of pediatric practice, she enrolled at UCLA from which she graduated with a Masters in Public Health. She credits her public health training with helping her maintain a holistic view of health care, and with fostering her interest in education as it goes hand in hand with good health care to produce the best outcome for each child.

Jennifer Cohen, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Cohen has been practicing at Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group since 2002. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and completed her medical training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She did her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles and stayed on for an extra year as a chief resident before joining the staff of Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group.

Francisco Rivera, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Rivera has been practicing at Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group since 2006. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard University where he graduated with honors. In 1999, he graduated from the University Of California San Diego Medical School, and on completion of his internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of Orange County he worked as a locum tenens physician - a traveling doctor substituting for short term clinical needs. Over the course of the next two years he would cover clinics and neonatal intensive care units in northern California, Colorado, New Mexico, West Virginia and upstate New York.

Dr. Rivera has also done laboratory research in fetal gastrointestinal development, comparative neuroanatomy, DNA fingerprinting, bdelloid rotifer genetics and cystinuria.

Sharon Wollaston, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Wollaston joined the staff of Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group in 2007 after 7 years in a private practice in Burbank. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and is a graduate of New York Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles where she stayed for an additional year as a chief resident.

Ruby Batin, M.D.

Dr. Batin graduated from the Institute of Medicine in Burma in 1968. Prior to emigrating to the U.S.A., she was a professor at the medical school. She has been practicing medicine in Pasadena, California since 1983 and joined the staff of Huntington Plaza Pediatric Group in 2001. Two of Dr. Batin’s four children are practicing physicians in different specialties.
